Prof. S. S. Katiyar Commemoration Lecture

With a generous donation from Secretary, Prof. S. S. Katiyar Charitable Society, Geeta Nagar, Kanpur The Indian Science Congress Association has instituted this Commemoration Lecture in 2003-2004, to be given annually to a eminent scholar for his/her original contribution in the area related to Biological / Chemical sciences. The awardee shall deliver a lecture at the Annual Session of the Indian Science Congress Association either in the Section of New Biology (including Biochemistry, Biophysics & Molecular Biology and Biotechnology or in the Section of Chemical Sciences. The lecture carries a cash amount of Rs.20,000/- along with a Plaque. The lecturer is entitled to TA/DA (within the country) as per ISCA rules for attending the Session of the Science Congress in which he/she will receive the award.

Nominations for award lecture are invited from members of the ISCA Council and the final selection is made by a Selection Committee comprising of General President, General Secretary (Outstn.), Treasurer, two experts nominated by the General President and General Secretary (Hqrs.).

The last date for receiving nominations is July 31 each year.
