Prof. Sushil kr. Mukherjee Commemoration Lecture

With a donation from Organising Secretary, 62nd Annual Convention of the Indian Society of Soil Science (1997), Calcutta, the ISCA has instituted this commemoration Lecture in 1999 - 2000, to be given annually to be distinguished Scientist of the Century in any branch of Agricultural Sciences ( with special reference to Soil Sciences). The awardee shall deliver a lecture at the annual Session of the Indian Science Congress Association in section of Agricultural science with special reference to Soil Sciences on a topic of his/her specialisation. The lecturer is entitled to TA/DA (within the Country) as per ISCA rules for attending the Session of the Science Congress in which he/she well receive the award.

Nominations for award are invited from members of the ISCA Council And also from members of the Sectional Committees in Agricultural Science and Chemistry and the final selection is made by a selection Committee comprising of General President, General Secretary (Outstn), Treasurer, two experts nominated by the General President and General Secretary (Headquarters).

The last date for receiving applications (in prescribed proforma) is July 31 each year.
