Prof. R. C. Mehrotra Commemoration Lecture

With the donation from Professor R. C. Mehrotra Commemoration Society for the Advancement of Chemical Education, Research and Training, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, the Association instituted this award lecture in 1998, to be given bi-ennially to a prominent scholer for his/her original contributions in the field related to Chemical Sciences. The awardee shall deliver a lecture at the Annual Session of the Indian Science Congress on a topic of his/her specialisation.The award carries a Gold Medal along with an honorarium of Rs.10,000/-. The awardee is entitled to TA/DA(within the country) as per ISCA rules for attending the Session of the science Congress in which he/she will receive the award.

Nominations for the award lecture are invited from members of the council of ISCA and the final selection is made by a selection Committee comprising of General President, General Secretary (Outstn.), Treasurer, two experts nominated by the General president and General Secretary (Headquarters).

The last date for receiving applications (in prescribed proforma) is July 31 each year.
